Remember the NX is not a replacement for the Wii U according to Nintendo, so Zelda U could still be an exclusive and Metroid, F-Zero, Paper Mario, a true Animal Crossing, and other games are still possible for the system.

I don't know what the NX could be since it isn't a replacement for WiiU or 3DS but I think it will be a tablet or phone type device but who knows ?!

What I don't get is why they're making a 3rd gaming system alongside the U and 3DS. What will it do differently to distinguish itself from the other systems (besides being strictly for games only)? And if it's not replacing the U, then what will become of the U? What games is it gonna get from here on out?

I bet it's a smart phone 1. It allegedly won't replace either console 2. Nintendo is developing mobile apps and games. Not many other ways for those blocks to stack.
