    Mewtwo had Aura first. It was severely tainted, becoming Dark Aura. The Aura is a reflection of the soul, so while Lucario has a pure Aura, Mewtwo's is twisted and miasmal, likely due to the torture he endured at the hands of the researcher that created him. After all, it did involve "horrific gene splicing experiments."
