I'm not too far yet, but I don't see how some people are saying they made it through the whole game without firing a single shot. It seems like there's some places where you can't hide and wait for enemies to pass. Is there some way besides hangun, meat, and flare to kill / hide from / distract / pass enemies that I'm not aware of? Thanks.
