I'm honestly satisfied with that new "Metroid Prime" game because I never actually got to experience any of the Metroid Prime series, so it's nice to be able to experience parts of those games while I wait for Wii U Metroid.

    Buy Metroid Prime Trilogy instead. It's on sale now in the eShop for 13 bucks. One of the best trilogies ever, and way better value than that trash called 'Metroid Prime: Federation Force' will ever be.

    You've literally scene 10 seconds of beta gameplay. You're just upset that there isn't a main series Metroid announcement. If they were announced together you'd probably be fine with it

    No, because this isn't Metroid Prime. You said you haven't played much of Metroid, so let me explain what it's about. Metroid is a dark game, in which you explore uncharted worlds, not knowing where to go, or what you'll find. It's about killing huge monsters, it's about being a bountyhunter. It's very intense gameplay. This was none of that. This just shouldn't be called 'Metroid Prime'.

    maybe it won't be bad. im not saying it is. what we do know is that this is a spinoff of a franchise that really needed to come back strong to its roots after a long drought

    You're frustrated. You wanted a Wii U Metroid. You got a spin-off. Get over yourself. Wii U Metroid is being developed by, in my opinion, one of the top 10 modern game development companies. Jesus Christmas, Metroid super-fans get so peevy when anything strays from the norm.

    It's a spin-off I want it for the gameplay elements on the go. If I wanted the true Metroid experience, I'd get Trilogies. This is called a spinoff for a reason. Nintendo realizes how upset everybody is and will probably drop a bomb at the next direct

    This is NOT Metroid Prime. Don't act like we have no right to judge about that. We've played the games for years, you have not. They should've branded it differently. Metroid is a niche game, and since they messed it up, they've even turned their backs towards the actual fans. This was just a big slap in the face, practically telling us they don't care about Metroid whatsoever.

    They called it Metroid Primee because it has the first person gameplay of Metroid Prime and is set in the world of Metroid Prime. Nintendo probably thought their fans would be smart enough to realize that it's a spin-off, just more light hearted unlike Hunters

    No, not really. The game itself didn't impress me either. With so few games to be released, I think Nintendo should spend their resources on something else.
