I've come to a realisation about Metroid after playing Other M years ago. All the Metroid games before Other M were for people like me, those who liked exploration, discovery and works inspired by H.R. Giger. In comparison, Other M and now Federation Force are Metroid games made for a new audience. My realisation is that Metroid games aren't made for me any more, they're made for other people.
