I think Lum was a Saturday morning cartoon in Japan. It's like Ranma and Maison Ikkoku. There's absolutely nothing to worry about this super awesome drawing.

Is Lum from an anime? A manga?

She's from a manga from the late 70's and became an anime in the early 80's. Very popular and it is from the same creator of Ranma, Maison Ikkoku and Inuyasha.

All very good stuff. She also created things like the Mermaid series wich is more horror kind of anime but really good. I liked Mermaid's scar and Mermaid forest.

Lum is an alien princess with the power to shock people with lightning bolts. She wears a tiger striped bikini and has a tiger striped UFO. She's one of my favorite oldschool anime characters. And Rumiko Takahashi is my favorite Manga writer.
