    Yes; but the most difficult to find are those hiding behind shrubs. (The UP tab doesn't make shrubs disappear.)

    Thanks, all! I found them (they blended with the ground). Luckily, none of the weeds were behind anything. Can I assume this event is repeatable to complete the flower furniture? How many days of no weeding does it take to trigger? Thanks!

    Two or three weeds appear a day. (Only two or three a month if you time travel.) There are two sets of (great) flower furniture: those collected by you for weeding, & those won by you for weeding a friend's town. Checkout 'Weeding Day' in the Nookipedia.
