I thought of some really fun Splatoon Rules! I'd love it if some people with 8 friends tried them out. I'll post them below! Also, my internet was off, so I colored the testing section.... xD

    Rule 1: The Buddy Rule If this rule is applied, then everyone in the regular/ranked battles must have a buddy. You may pair up with anyone, but you then have to stick with that person the whole match. You may go over to your other buddies, but do not leave your buddy at any time by himself. This will cause a penalty for the team-- 5% to be subtracted from their total score. (Continue...)

    Rule 8: Your A Squid Now! If you get inked and are sent back to spawn, then you must stay a squid for 15 seconds of the match. This applies for every time you get inked, not just the first time. Rule 9: Your A Kid Now! If you get inked, you must stay a kid for 15 seconds of the match WITHOUT using your weapons. This applies for every time you get inked, not just the first time.

    Rule 11: Team Cat or Team Dog? One person outside of the battle (such as a spectator) must pick a team. The two teams discuss between themselves for 30 seconds to figure out what team the person chose. Both will announce to the person which team they chose after the 30 seconds were over, but you cannot switch your choice after you hear the other team's choice! (Continued in next comment....)

    Whoever wins gets a 15 second head start! If both choose correctly, try again. Same if both get it wrong. IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE THE OTHER TEAM DOES NOT LOSE CONNECTION, PLEASE JUMP AND MOVE AROUND IN THE SPAWN AREA.
