Unfortunately, a matchmaking issue was discovered in the first Japanese Splatfest that resulted in long wait times and players unable to join matches. We have been working on a solution but will need a little more time to resolve the issue. In order to ensure that fans have the best possible experience and can enjoy the fun they’ve come to expect from Splatoon, we have decided to postpone the first North American Splatfest. We’ll have details on a new date soon!

  • Seems like 1/3 of the people here are upset about the delay, another 1/3 are relieved because they didn't have access to the game on the original date, and the last 1/3 just want everyone else to shut up already. As if the cats/dogs thing wasn't enough fan division.

  • Tom, many users, including me, ha-strongly dislike the comment restriction.

    Yeahs2
  • Sometimes it seems like the person in charge of Miiverse updates does not actually care very much. If he/she did, we would not have the two minute comment restriction.

    Yeahs1
  • and why will there be a debate on wich cats are beter or dogs you know tom that it is hard for each and everybody in the game likes both so why put a debate on it?

@Tom: It seems Super Smash Bros. U Update 1.0.9 gets rid of the Miiverse Posts in the background of the Miiverse Stage. But then, now what? The Miiverse Stage has lost it's purpose, and it's just another Battlefield clone stage. If Sakurai went this far then might as well get rid of the stage entirely.

And of course, the comment restriction. 30 max posts a day? Im ok with that. 30 comments? No. It's quite obvious that other users comment all the time. And Nintendo is limiting what people here on Miiverse do the most. Commenting. I hope the max number gets doubled or even tripled.

These Miiverse updates are getting out of hand and now it's being covered up with a redesign. Redesign Im fine with. Just not the limitation on comments. 30 is not plenty for most people. THINK please for these users ARE Nintendo's loyal customers. Don't lose them. Users are leaving more quickly than when the Admin update came.

Thank You, Hopefully you listened to me. If not, then Im going to be disappointed. Nintendo should always listen to fans. Not play a game of chirades and guess what they want.

  • @L: Thank you, L.

  • So the two minute comment cooldown is still here and you say that things are less strict... I've lost hope.
