Again, it's your opinion that I was rude. I apologize, but it just annoys me greatly when people are serious about wanting anime characters in Smash. Again, go play Super Smash Flash or something if you want to play Goku. He's actually pretty well executed and proves that he is suited for Smash and has a good moveset and stuff. But really...anime characters in Smash? Won't happen.
Fun fact: Ryu STARTED in a fighting game. Goku had anime, THEN games. Street Fighter is good, and DBZ games aren't (everyone told me to buy Battle of Z, even though I know nothing about DBZ. Bought the game for a ridiculous price and it doesn't even work. It crashes before I can even play). Just because you had a game doesn't make you eligible.
He is cool (sort of), and strong (sort of), but it doesn't mean he should be in Smash. Also,
1. The whole 'opinion is invalid' thing is a joke/meme, directed towards people whose posts make no sense.
2. Your claim that, because Ryu is in Smash and because Goku also has video games means that he should be in, makes no sense. See where I'm going with this?
Again, anime characters don't fit in Smash. Stop trying to redeem yourself by talking about good anime. But at least you do watch One Piece (hopefully)
Almost every popular anime has a Videogame. goku didn't start in a fighting video game, ryu did. In fact, ryu practically started fighting games. And don't you think goku would be a little op in, well I don't know, just about any situation ever? Besides, Nintendo has a single company to ask for the rights to ryu, but about twenty companies to ask for the rights to any given iteration of goku.
How am I making fun of you? (At least I'M not). I just don't agree with your opinion and something definitely has to be said about this, because anime characters won't be let in. If you really want Goku and Vegeta and stuff, go make Mii Fighters of them. They're rather easy to make. Just download someone's mii from the internetz and turn them into a Brawler.

LOL yeah. Mega Man had an 'anime' technically. If you live in Japan (where anything that's an animated show is considered anime). Also, Pokémon had vidya games/card games. Then, it had anime. But seriously, Mega Man had an anime?! What's it called, I want to check it out!
Understand that those were games before they were animes, not much work had to be done to apply them to ssb. When it starts as an anime and becomes a game, a lot work has to go into developing a move set and character model and a whole bunch of other painful stuff. The cost of adding a character from any anime, not just dragonball, far outweighs the payment fans are willing to make to get the dlc!
Well, it's not your decision either. Nintendo can also decide whether or not they DON'T want DBZ or One Piece characters. They don't have to listen to you.
I really hope daddy sakurai adds kid goku as a smash dlc and possibly luffy i mean i dont see why kid goku cant be in smash and many people are saying kid goku has no chance of making it and that makes me mad I just hope daddy sakurai reads this post and adds kid goku in ssb4 and possibly luffy too
When shoving your opinion at other people and expecting them to accept it, the WRONG thing to do is to tell them not to have their own opinion if they disagree with you. I get that you like the characters, but you have literally no legs to stand on here.

Personally, I do NOT want Goku in Smash. Nor would I want Monkey D. Luffy in Smash. True, it is up to Nintendo to add them. But they said only VIDEO GAME characters are fair game (see what I did there? With the game and the...game...ah, forget it.) Anime/Manga peplz that starred in games after their Animoos/Mungahz premiered aren't allowed. It would be cool if Goku was in Smash, but he can't.
I saw an interview about sakurai about ssb4 he talked about how many people on miiverse are requesting goku to be in smash and for some weird reason spongebob too so sakurai might consider goku a canidate for ssb4 but i dont want goku in smash i've been saying the whole time I wanted kid goku in ssb4 not adult goku because i think adult goku is just to strong
also I was suggesting if nintendo might wanna consider luffy as another dlc i wouldn't mind much if luffy isn't put in the game but in the end you never know nintendo might add luffy too!

i have one thing to say to that girl who's mii that looks odd mikalekaleka or whatever you call yourself.How is DBZ Garbage when you even never played 1 single game in your life b quiet about if u never have . and Dont get me wrong ST Fun but The Graphics were so horrible to me i just couldn't look at them that is until i saw SF 5. but DBZ is Way Popular Than SF.

The only ones that I NEED to get (but can't because I'm pretty lazy and short on money) are Ult. Tenkaichi, Tenkaichi 1 and Tenkaichi 3. P.S, just cuz something is more popular than another thing doesn't mean it's better. There are a ton of anime I can think of that are better than DBZ. Tons of games better than SF (even though SF is pretty good, still tons of games better).

Goku would b a better choice of whatever character u voted for in the smash ballot. u probably picked strawberry shortcake knowing u. and if u ask me if Goku was on top of the poll they would have no choice but to put him on there. most of some people wouldn't even touch Ryu. i would've preferred knuckles over him.
Knuckles would be pretty cool. Thanks to Ryu, I might vote for him (Originally, I thought there could be only one TP characted per franchise. Ryu proved me wrong! #knuckles4smash). Originally, I voted for King K Rool (we need more villains, more heavyweights and more DK reps). And trust me...I'm quite an odd person...like the Joker said, "There's plenty wrong with me!"
