  • My thoughts exactly.

    Yeahs3
  • because we didnt even get a NORMAL ONE ON WIIU YET!!! HELLO

    Yeahs3
  • The difference being that Mario games come out all the time. How often does a Metroid game release? It's different.

    Yeahs5
  • I don't really play Animal Crossing or Metroid but I see why ppl are disappointed.

    Yeahs2
  • That's because Mario became a often spun-off franchise on the SNES, early in his lifetime. Metroid.... no. I don't mind seeing either of the games, but the Animal crossing thing is a luttle lame to announce at E3.

    Yeahs0
  • i call it mario privilege

    Yeahs1
  • The Mario universe is very flexible, kart racing, rpg, sports, party games, puzzle games, etc., and of course, mario games regularly come out.

    Yeahs2
  • @KaviD: I can also see why people are disappointed, but with the reactions the games are getting, you'd think a popular series isn't allowed to have spinoffs. @Jalline: You do know we've had Metroid spinoffs before, right? No one seemed to mind Metroid Pinball or Metroid Prime Hunters, so petitioning to cancel Federation Force feels like a bit much, even if it is the first Metroid on Wii U.

    Yeahs1
  • the director confirmed that there only working on this spin of and that they haven't started development on a real prime yet! he also said that it would take at least another 3 years after starting development to get a prime 4 so yes there is a reason to be mad about this spin off!

    Yeahs0
  • Isn't Federation Force for 3DS, not Wii U?

    Yeahs2
  • Yeah, I meant 3DS, not Wii U. I figured someone would catch that mistake.

    Yeahs1
