  • I'm not good at drawing.

  • As I do think drawing isn't for everyone (mentally), I do think that everyone can indeed do some form of art. If it's drawing you want to master, you got to do it with your life in the pen because no one gets good overnight. For naturally good drawers (and I mean straight from birth), they have been drawing for YEARS. And I'm talking 6 years, 10 years, etc.

  • thanks you've inspired me to practice more

  • So again, if you desire to be a good drawer, you got to have the mentality that you are individual and no one can stop you. You have to practice a whole lot, day by day, by picking different methods to do it. Luckiky drawing isn't the only art form you can master, so if you are overwhelmed, there are so many options to try if your mentality truly desires it. :)

  • Don't devastate yourself! :3 Just keep going. Here's what I do to help me get better. 1) Study everything. Stare at figures, colors, shadows, and capture that into your mind. Do this as often as possible. 2) Draw! Don't let your inner demons tell you you can't- because everyone can if they truly wanted to! Practice definitely makes progress! 3) It's okay to trace artwork because you're studying--

  • 3 Con't) --different styles on how to do a certain work- and it's always a great way to build your foundation! Just don't steal and claim the style as your own. 4) Experiment and be risky! Get out your comfort zone all the time. You're either going to love the results or hate it. But that's okay! Trash it, frame it, move on.

  • 5) Relax about hating your final results. There will be artists who show off phenominal pieces of art but they will hate it. This is because we can't draw exactly what we see in our heads. But if you can understand that you won't get the perfect outcome all the time, you'll strive even further and improvement will be evident!

  • 6) Finally, give it time. You may not be "a fantastic drawer", you may have people telling you that you just CAN NOT, but let me tell you that nothing stays the same in life. Whether you're 6, or 10, or 16, or 45, artists of all trades will be put down again and again. Make sure ypu breathe, try again, take breaks, love yourself and never give up. Corny, I know, but true. :)

  • That's amazing! You CAN draw! ^-^ Keep it up, I know you'll do great! :D
