Those five corpses the dude is examining are HIS OWN CORPSES. And those guns are all clones of his gun. Killing the guard and entering the fort's restricted area causes him to respawn, but his corpse and fallen gun remain. Is this guy Dr. Bright? Is he Fujiwara no Mokou? Or is he a zombified victim of a terribly cruel glitch?
