    The only thing I like about the lance is guarding other than that it's kinda a poke here, poke there weapon. I recommend the gunlance

    I mained the Gunlance in MH3U and have used it quite a bit in this game. I thought I'd try something new and from watching tutorials and gameplay the standard Lance looks incredibly fun.

    The charge attack is really fun and faster at getting to the monster than running!

    Yeah, and the fact that you can perform a jump from that charge is epic. The Glaive isn't the only weapon that doesn't need uneven terrain to get mounts.
