Question: Is it considered rude to hit others with ones weapons after the quest is done and everything is harvested? So far I've looked on it as just some fun afterwards but what are your thoughts?

  • most people consider it rude. if you know the person. idt they'll mind. but let's say you did that while on a quest with me. I'd kick you the moment we get back to the guild hall. no hard feelings though.

  • I honestly do get pretty annoyed, as it's stopped me from carving before. Fortunately, I always get revenge by repeatedly smacking them into the air on the next quest.

  • Some may find it rude, but then again, some people hate to be given advice and find that it's 'elitist talk' or 'trolling'. (idk what they think, nor do I care.) imho, it's not rude unless all carves aren't made.

  • I dont do it myself anymore, but I've had others do it to me plenty of times. I'm kinda wondering if its a way others use to communicate dissatisfaction. Perhaps I hit them / tripped them midquest on accident and their seeking an outlet for frustration. But than again maybe their just trying to be rude. I'm probably overthinking this.

  • Haseo.... you probably kick a lot of people then. Tell me, if the quest and all related harvesting is over, what exactly about that is kick-worthy?

  • Launch me if you want, i don't really mind, else everyone will stand there like a tree waiting to be sent back. At least i can practice launch mounting.

  • I'd only play around for those last few secs after everyone has carved.

  • I definetly find it annoying if other players do it when I'm harvesting.

  • If someone is carving, gathering, or doing a gesture, imo, it's pretty rude. Else, I don't think it's too big a deal

  • If we're done carving and stuff, idk. I do it myself for fun. :P

  • As long as there not carving or gathering other materials then go for it. Its fun to do. And its the only PvP that will ever exist in monster hunter.

  • Ricky, nah actually no one does it. I've had to kick one person while playing online because of that. It's definitely isn't an everday thing. Because most people don't see a need for it.

  • I gotcha. But why would you kick someone over it?

  • I don't really mind, and I've done it on a few occasions when another hunter has shot or smacked me. The only time I'll find it kick worthy is if they stopped me from carving, and even then I'll ask if they noticed that I was carving.
