    @Poke Just keep trying! Proportions are difficult. The best way is to draw the same thing over and over from different angles. That helps! Because you get used to the way something should look. Also, references are great! Always use them when you need to.

    I sort of hate getting references since at some points It'll look like the picture I reference from and like I said: Art comes from the soul. Copying an idea from an artist to it's full extent is like copying their soul.

    @Poke Luigi fan is right, you can do it!! And only copy something as a reference for practice. Like, I still use references sometimes. But I use lots at once when I do. Like so I'll know how a character looks from multiple angles, so I can draw it a way that is completely different! Not copying ideas, just using ideas to make something new!
