特番では『極上の夏休みの過ごし方』を目的に日本各地のグルメ＆レジャー情報を総力取材。『華丸大吉プレゼンツ！究極の博多ツアー（仮）』では、水卜アナの“食いしん坊ぶり”がさく裂したようで南原は「食べっぷりにびっくりした。夜12時まで屋台2軒を回って終わったので、またそこから食べ始めまして…そこから次の日の朝の6時からのロケでも食べてるんです」と暴露。「この子の胃袋はどうなってるんだ！」と目をまん丸して、水卜アナを爆笑させた。
