Question

how much of a difference does it make to be friends with one of your neighbors? Does it make want to request more public work projects? I'm just wondering that's all.

    I read that being friends with many villagers causes them to suggest more public works. Mine suggested 2-3 a day. What it affects greatly is whether villagers frequent the flea market & what prices you can charge. (Vertebrate fossils are snapped up at 9500 bells each.) It affects how often they give you gifts, &c.
