in my opinionthe first zelda game is one of the best games if the bestgamein the series. I wish they would make a remastered version. After all, without it there probably wouldn't be a legend of zelda game series.

    I'm not entirely clear for its validity but I've heard zelda U is a large scale remake of the original.

    I wouldn't say that it will be a remake, but the Zelda for WiiU seems to be trying to capture the spirit of the original. I'm pretty excited to see how it will be.
