若くしてデビューした彼らは、デビュー当時からチームとしての結束力があったわけではない。Jr.としての活動歴も年齢もバラバラだった彼らが、長く同じグループとして活動を続けていくうちに、だんだんと互いを知り、意識していったのだ。他ユニットとの掛け持ちをしたり、ソロデビューをした時期もあったが、それでも「JUMPをホームだ」と言い続けてきた山田。彼のチャンスを応援しつつも、そのホームを守ってきたメンバーたち。そんな模索した時期を経て、2015年の今、JUMPとしての花が開いているように思えるのだ。
