I knew a boy He liked to draw He was most artistic at night In the bathroom out of sight. He didn't use paper & pen But needed a bandage now & again He didn't tell a soul & his gallery grew Hidden where no one knew As we stood by the river under the stars He rolled up his sleeve & showed me his scars, He was embarrassed and looked at his shoe.
