popularity factors into winning?? why? Team Cat won... more battles. that's a weird score settling.

  • it's just like... how many people were on each team shouldn't matter. it's how they play. if the sheer amount of people on the other team helped them win then what the heck was i trying so hard for?? i mean i'm happy for Team Dog but it just doesn't really seem fair bc i thought the whole point was 'who did better battling'.

  • i can explain due to the lack of people on team cat players on team dog had to battle for them and if the players representing the cats won cats got the point not team dog think about what the differential would have been if they didnt do that cats would have been creamed and those on team dog not in a game would have to wait for a long time not playing there rounds

  • but it still seems weird that they even did that. made Team Dog fight Team Dog in Team Cat's absence. like... i mean i know it made for more battles but that breaks the whole point of the 2 teams.

  • would you rather have people play the game or sit in the game lobby for 15 minutes till a team showed up xD it was the only thing nintendo could do so they didnt have to cancel it besides everyone got snails based on there splatfest rank

  • i understand why. people would have been upset either way so whatever. we can just check another region off the Broken Splatfest list lmao.
