    When you leave Magicant after having entered it from the Monkey's Cave, you're dropped near Youngtown. It should provide you with PSI Teleport to let you warp between visited towns as you wish.

    ah, well i'd already been to Youngtown, so when it sent me to Magicant, I just Teleported back to Podunk. So basically, aside from a few items, there's no reason for me to go through the monkey's cave...
