When the dragons crawled up to the edge, Draconis went to each one to see it they were ok. "alright, everyone is ok." Draconis roared something very quickly. the lava dragons went back into the volcano with chirps of joy. "while i'm here, i think i will go jewel hunting. then that will be it." Draconis glided down to a flat piece on the side of the volcanoe, then began to dig.

Draconis unearthed a fire gem. "woah...not expecting this...hey, is that obsidian you found?" She asked while carrying the fire gem in one hoof. it burned as bright as the sun, and was as hot too. it was vety rare, rarer than a blue diamond.

"ok." Draconis tucked the fire stone between her feathers. her spines held it in place, and a normal feathered wing wouldn't be able to hold it, so it looked a little odd.

"so, what does a shadow crystal do?"

"sounds cool. i'm going to go back to gem hunting. you do your stuff." Draconis went to another cliff and began to dig. she unearthed a large amound of emerald, and some opal. another spot, more jewels. another, another...

Draconis continues to dig, until she unearths a strange deep green glowing stone with grooves in it that look like scales. "no...not Dragon Crystal..." Draconis whispered to herself. "arrgh...have to get away...it's going to make me transform..." She flew to the other side of the volcano as quick as she could, twitching along the way.

Draconis hides under a cliff. "ack...no..." her neck begins to extend, and her ears change to horns. her legs grow clawed feet on the end and her teeth become pointed. she grows a longer tail with hair on the end. her face becomes elongated and is a snout. her royal gear morphs to fit her new proportions. she takes a deep breath, then lets out a deafening roar. dragons everywhere roar back.

Draconis (now Draconia) spreads her wings and shoots into the air at ligjtning speed. seeing her 'friend' falling, she grabs him with one arm then flies up, up, up, and into a cloud or two. "you okay?" she growls.

"ye...er..kay?" Draconia tried to say in pony. she couldn't do sounds like o because dragons don't have lips.

Draconia takes her other arm and uses her claws to grip the shard. she pulls gently on the shard.

Just as Draconia let go of the shard, her fire stone falls out of her grip. she whips around and down to catch the stone. when her claws touch it, she has a sudden sensation to eat the stone. and that is exactly what Draconia does. her scales begin to heat up, and smoke pours from her nose and mouth. a Phoenix cries from below, in fear. Draconia shoots out a fire blast hot as the sun into thr air.

Draconia growls to him. "sorry, can't help you with that shard." Draconia flies to the ground and drops him off there. then she begins to choke. a slimy fire stone slides out of her mouth onto the ground. she becomes normal again, and goes back to being a pony.

draconis wipes the slime off the fire stone, then puts it back under her wing. "that doesn't look good..."

sigh. "looks like you're being filled with the essence of dark magic..."

"hmm...i remember something you said earlier... 'it's difficult to use dark magic for anything besides evil'? yeah...you are probably about to do something evil, hm?"

"ok...odd...hey! where you going?"

"hey! i'm speaking to you!" Draconis rumbled in dragon.

"Did you just HISS at me?" Draconis growled threateningly.

Draconis shakes her head and rumbles, "sorry, don't understand that language."

*sighs* "guess i'll just follow you." follows him.

After a while, Draconis takes the fire stone out, holding itin her wing. she studies it closely, then sees a small phoenix in the stone. "huh, i was wrong. it's a phoenix stone." she murmured to herself.

Draconis shudders. "if we're going in here, i'm staying hidden." Draconis mutters a spell under her breath, and she becomes a normal pegasus pony, with no scale pattern in her mane/tail. her royal gear disappears also.

Draconis continues to follow him, trying to act like a normal pegasus pony.

"ohh no... he better not be doing what i think he's doing... are we going to the castle?" Draconis asked him, a bit nervously.

"i'm sorry...i can't do that... i'm kinda...banished... from Equestria...and plus...they used to be my...friends..."

Dragonis stands still, then spreads her wings, revealing the spines and the fire stone, and shoots off back toward the volcano. she lands at the spot where the Dragon Jewel lies. she picked it up and tucked it in her other wing. immediately she started to twitch, and her cutiemark flashed. she flew back to the 'alicorn', twitching.

Draconis lifted her wing, showing the Dragon Jewel, then smiled evilly. "we USED to be friends...so it doesn't matter to me what happens to her. i'll even help you do whatever you're going to do. also, Dragon Jewel makes a dragon ten times more powerful; physically and magically. that's why its so rare."

Draconis let out a low growl. "let's go get Celestia."

Draconia roars at the guards. then she swallows her fire stone, and her scales begin to radiate glistering heat.

Draconia blasts the door down, then rampages in.

Guards try to stop Draconia, but she shoots her sun flames at them and there's nothing left there. seeing a staircase, she claws her way up, as the stairs are too small for her. she grabs the 'alicorn' with her tail and hauls him up too.

Draconia let out a 'small' roar. then she crawled down the hallway. her claws sank into the floor and walls as she went upsidedown and then back on the floor again, in a spiral.

seeing the last staircase, Draconia reveals the Dragpn Crystal. then with one gulp, swallows it. her eyes blaze and her scales shine. she lets out a roar that could be heard even from the other end of Equestria, and shoots up, destroying the stairs.

Celestia and Luna are standing, alert, when Draconia burst through the door. "YOU!" Celestia cried. Draconia roared furiously.

Luna looked on with fear. "I will kill you!" Draconia roared. "Stop this Draconis! i don't want to fight you!" Celestia begged. "i WILL fight you!" Draconia roared back.

"what?" Luna asked, confused

Draconia blast a sun flame at Luna, and she screamed. then she was gone. Celestia wept. "LUNAAAAA!"

Discord randomly appears. "hey Celestia! how you do- i'll come back later..." disappears. "You...you killed Luna! now you pay!" Celestia began to summon a powerful spell. Dragonia grabbed her horn and pulled down sharply, breaking it.

Celestia fell to the ground, unable to use her magic.

Draconia growled in agreement. "i...i..." Celestia drooped her head in defeat.

Draconia roars in triumph. then she spits up the two stones and turns normal. Draconis tucks the fire stone under her wing, and kicks the Dragon Crystal away from her. "very easy. so what now?"

"hoooo boy. still a lot. but... nah, just leave it. they have the whole of Equestria to live in now. we can just change the castle to fit me a bit better, especially when i'm a dragon. as you can see, i made a mess." the floor started to cave in, the stairs were gone, there were holes in the roof, and the walls were crumbling.
