The death of Iwata really only sunk in when I was going to bed. It's really sad we just lost a fellow gamer in the community, who also just happens to be the CEO of Nintendo. RIP Iwata, your accomplishments won't go unnoticed.

    Really I was on vacation the whole day so it was ignorance is bliss the majority of the time. When I heard of his passing I was somewhat upset and sorry to hear that. Even then I didnt have much time to think into it since I fell asleep 10 minutes later.

    He passed away Luke. It hurt a lot. Since most of us are gamers, we don't really think about it. We just think there are people pumping out games for our enjoyment. We don't think much about their lives or about what they go through. When we heard he was recovering last year, we cheered and moved on, end of story. When stuff like this does happen, it's all a shock.

    even though some of iwata buisness choices were upsetting he still was a great ceo i wish the other regional ceo's would learn from him when nintendo was on a bad side of the console wars he still managed to kept nintendo alive and running if not thriving r.i.p satoru iwata you will be missed
