    Magikarp or weedle are actually pretty easy to start with, since you don't have to worry about egg moves, and they hatch extremely quickly. Plus you will actually be able to get some mileage out of mega beedrill or gyarados/mega-gyarados. If you like either of them, that's not a bad place to start.
