i heard in the japanese version of this game that reindeer, the department store's fifth floor with the bombs, laser beams, and plasma beams, doesn't exist, is this true?

    Well I'm not japansese and don't have access to a japanese rom so I can't confirm or deny anything with 100% certainty. However, I have never seen that as a change cited on any vesion difference list, so I think it's safe to assume that's a lie.
