    I pronounce it with a long E sound and hard G's. Long E like in ''street'' and hard G like in ''goat''. Like ''Gheeg''. Since his name in Mother 1 and 2 is ''Gyiyg'', it's the same villain as in Earthbound. I pronounce Giygas similarly, like ''Ghee-guss''. But you know, that's just me, pronounce it however you like!

    Thanks guys. I think I like "Guy-g" the best. It's the most consistent with the original Japanese name, and a long i followed by a silent "ue" fits the pattern set by other words, like segue, fugue, queue...
