actually it depends on who's using either of them. like what would win a Gardivoir or mega Sceptile, a Gardivoir because the trainer could teach it icy wind

@Gamemaster, We're not factoring in outside assistance. Any grass type that's faster than Mega Swampert can one-shot it with no problem.

Well technical Mega sceptile base speed is with a perfect nature at lv.50 could have a speed between 165-216. While Mega Swampert base speed at lv.50 with a perfect nature is between 82-134. Even with that rain dance up your swampert aint gonna do nothin

But you have to remember that M Swampert's defence with a perfect nature at lv.50 is 126-178 in both physical and special defense is gonna be kinda bulky but Sceptile best stats are Atk, Sp. Atk, and Speed, so its gonna do work how ever you use him

Did you not look at how different the stats are in speed even with a perfect nature and swift swim, he's more than likly not going to out-speed a mega Sceptile

@Zeta. Actually If Mega Swampert is running max speed, it will outrun Mega Sceptile in the rain. In fact, jolly Mega Swampert only needs 76 evs in speed to outrun Mega Sceptile in the rain. Adamant needs 160 evs in speed.

I'm tired of arguing I'm hungry I've been debating this with my brother for LITERALLY half my life I don't want to start anything! I'm cranky and hungry because it's 7 in the morning! I'm done I'm calling it a tie because it could go either way! Now I will enjoy breakfast!

@Crow I'm talking about BASE stats not ev's or iv's. and even so a perfect nature M Sceptile with 252 in speed, 36 in iv's(I believe the max Iv's can go until there maxed) can out run, Out attack, and BODY a M Swampert. And this only at lv.50

I'm just putting in Mega Stones. M Sceptile could just completly body a M Swampert. And I dont care how you look at it, M Sceptile is the better on of the two.
