I have been hatching for shiny togepi for almost a week, and i've gone over TRIPLE my masuda method/SC odds (1/512). 1600 eggs, hope this doesnt end up worse than my smeargle hunt (2000 eggs).

    It really doesn't matter what method you uses it really comes down to just plain luck... Good luck and be very persistent to get what you need!
