    How about this as a solution (Got a shiny lvl 100 rayquaza)? Go catch a random pokemon and wonder trade it and what you receive till you get a good pokemon. Always works for me I have gotten several lvl 100 pokemon when I started out by trading a wurmple. (sorry for rambling)
