I figured out a new egg shiny method! I call it “Egg Reseting”. Where you save about every batch of steps you take. then when you are right next to where it hatch's, if it is not shiny, soft reset. when you get the shiny... well.... you got a shiny!

    Doesnt work because right when you get the egg nature, IV, EV etc are decided. Also if it will be shiny or not

    even though iv's ev's and stuff are determined as soon as you get the egg, I'm pretty sure shininess is determined on encounter, this is sort of a scrodinghers (that right?) cat thing.

    only the evs and ivs are decided when you get the egg. a dude on g00gle asked when shiny values are determined. a guy tested it with a shiny froakie. he reset and it wasnt shiny but it has the same stats.

    get a 6 iv ditto with destiny knot and a 6IV protean greninja with destiny knot. Since limber can't be passed on and the ability is protean.

    Lol that does not work, I once had 5 eggs in my party and the 4th egg was a shiny, I wondered if the shiny chance was fixed so I soft resetted my game and the 4th egg was still shiny.

    Here's how it goes: get the first egg and dump it in your p.C. BEFORE you get the next 5 eggs, Save in front of the Day care guy. Bike around the Battle Resort or on the Biking Road until you have 5 Eggs in your party and a Pokemon with Flame Body and go running around 'till they all hatch. Check their summary if they're shiny and then if none are shiny, soft reset and repeat.

    The nature will be the same but the IV will be random. Shiny is just something that you randomly get. So for example lets say u first have a shiny and then not thats cause its random. IV is also random but the best way to get shinies is have shiny charm and keep soft reseting.
