I need some advice please. Who would be a better partner for Blaziken; Sharpedo, Crawdaunt, or Greninja? I'm trying to buld a team, so if other suggestions pop into mind, please let me know. Please help?

  • greninja because both of their speed and attack make a strong combination

  • I suggest a Glalie with Freeze-Dry, which is Super-Effective on Water, coupled with the Ice type, you also get Same Type Attack Bonus

  • togekiss is great because follow me will stop his weaknesses and most of them are also special attacks which togekiss takes like no damage and he can also use thunder wave then air slash to stop blaziken from getting hurt

  • Yeah, I was thinking about that speed too. Plus the other two are a bit too much of "glass cannons"; that being very risky to use. Greninja is an option since I was fortunate to have access to a Frogadier, and it has Protean which I'm learning is a very fun ability.

  • i like t-wave togekiss more than scarf-kiss cause you have a better chance to stop movement and then speed boost on blaziken will just make it destructive

  • How is Glalie a 'glass cannon'?

  • It can also learn Sheer Cold, an instant OHKO (but the move accuracy is low) coupled with the Wide Lens makes Glalie BR.

  • No, I meant Sharpedo and Crawdaunt are glass cannons. The have high offense, but really low defense.

  • Right, OK. I still strongly recommend using Glalie. I can breed you a Snorunt (which evolves into Glalie) if you want.

  • That's ok, but truth be told, I'm actually trying to build a team that has a bit of each generation in it.

  • Thank you guys so much for your advice, you've all been a lot of help. Thanks!
