You have to go at the right time. If you caught one already, then nothing will appear when you go during its timeslot. Which one did you catch already?

The first one that pops up depends on which time you go to nameless cavern. Each one appears at these times Mesprit: 4am-8pm Uxie: 8pm-9pm Azelf: 9pm-4am So if you caught one, then nothing will appear at that time. Also, make sure you don't change the 3ds time to try and catch the others. The game knows when you do that, and will disable the ring for 24 hours.

For pathless plain, it depends on the day of the week: Cobalion - Sunday, Wedendsday, Friday Terrakion - Tuesday, Saturday Virizion - Monday, Thursday And for trackless forest, it depends on the minutes past the hour: Raikou - :00-:19 Entei - :20-:39 Suicune - :40-:59
