"I don't want the Pokemon nicknamed..." If you think about it, that's like saying, "I don't want the dog to have a name". Do you really want all Mew to be named "Mew" with nothing to make it unique? I can see why people do that, but it's very unlikely for a good trainer to give you a Jirachi named "Buttz" or something like that.

    Now I feel bad for not nicknameing my pokemon... *Cries* I'm sorry everyone. (Though, some people may ask for a non-nicknamed one so they can name it themselves)

    I thought you couldn't change the nickname of a Pokemon, even if they don't have a nickname. I could be wrong, though.

    Event pokes can not have nicknames, cause you can not change the nicknames of pokes that have an OT different from yours.
