    What you do is on Mt. Itoi, when Teddy leaves to make some phone calls, you're put in a room alone with Ana as an NPC, making you a one-man party again. Use the Onyx Hook from there and the rest is self-explanatory.

    Of course, it's much easier if you already got all eight melodies, as I had. Otherwise you'd have to scale the mountain alone as Ninten, and you'd also have to have repaired the boat beforehand or it wouldn't work.
