    He was clearly a hacker, no one in the anime is capable of catching a legendary Pokemon, or even registering it in their Pokedex

    @Temp there are other trainers in the anime who uses legendary pokémon like the frontier brains. He already won a league; he doesn't need to win other leagues unless he is a collector. He can become an Elite 4 or the Champion of the Sinnoh region if he is strong enough.
