Well.... that's both astonishing and sad. RIP, Satoru Iwata. Thank you for giving us some of the greatest things in Nintendo's history and continuously evolving the company and its consoles and characters. Everyone, every time we play a Nintendo game, remember that there's a little bit of Iwata in all of us. The big question now is... who will take his place? No one could possibly match him.

I'll miss Iwata-san... In this (or any) industry it's rare to see the ceo representing his company in public, and even rarer for that ceo to be so humble and honest. Every time he starred in a nintendo direct show, I felt happy as a consumer to see the boss himself giving me some news in person.
