Although I didn't always agreed with his decisions and quotes, this is still a great loss. A great man which I respected a lot more than Hiroshi Yamauchi. May he rest in peace.

This shows once again how evanescent life is and that you should enjoy every single day you have even if it's not going well from time to time. As Steve Jobs said: "Stay hungry stay foolish" I am sure the meaning of this was a guide for president Satoru Iwata as well!

I think that Iwata really has done an outstanding job as President of Nintendo, and I hope that Nintendo will remember his legacy as much as I will. The Wii U is still, in my eyes, a console with a lot of promise. The fact that Splatoon reached 1M sales in less than a month proves this outright.

R.I.P. We'd heard before his health getting worse, but this still comes as a shock. He'll be remembered as a talented, funny and likeable Nintendo president.

Kirby doit sans doute pleurer son papa aujourd'hui. Mr Iwata vous étiez un grand monsieur et un exemple, vous n avez jamais cédé à la tentation de licencier vos employés en période de difficulté, vous avez même coupé plusieurs fois votre salaire dans ces périodes. Et vous avez largement contribué à faire rêver et amuser des millions de personnes. Un grand merci à vous! Vous allez nous manquer!
