    It's cause the Armor is skimpier and/or sexier, so guys play as girls to see them in skimpy outfits...But I don't judge...'Cause me and my brother do it too xD

    .....or they're just completionists, or like to collect armors, which is why I have 2 characters. And really, MH is really good for NOT giving girls skimpy armor, and even though some are (G Dalamadur), even mails have skimpy suits. look at the bone greaves......

    It's just preference I guess, I almost always play as boy characters in other games like animal crossing or harvest moon. It shouldn't bother you though just assume every girl character is a guy. and you'll be fine.

    Some of them could be pretending to be girls because they know that males in the MH community are more willing to help girls out to make themselves look valiant and chivalrous.
