Oh gosh...just got out of a really tense battle. It was right before getting to Veilstone...these two Ace Trainers wanted to battle (I could've battled them separately, but I was feeling gutsy). Apparently, without me seeing it, the one had Roselia place Toxic Spikes. The other sent out a Gligar (odd, I had also sent out mine) (continued)

    Their Gligar was about the same as mine...even had Faint Attack...which took out Lade pretty quickly. About now is when I think the Toxic Spikes were laid, since Leah got poisoned when I sent her out (I thought it was something like Poison Sting or whatever). I was trying to focus fire the one opponent to leave me able to double team the Gligar user...eventually Terrapin (Grotle) came out (cont)

    ...and that is when I figured out there were Toxic Spikes on the ground. I ended up having everyone but Toxic (my Gligar) fall to poison and attacks...well, except for Sai, but it the rain wouldn't help her. DOOF (HM Bidoof) was needed to give me a turn to revive everyone...his sacrifice was not in vain.

    Toxic and Sai were the only ones who survived this ordeal...and Sai doesn't really count since she did nothing to help the battle.
