    Now that brings me to another segway: What's Pollyanna? For those who don't know, it's a song that's been a part of the series since Mother 1, or EarthBound Beginnings. It played in-game during Mother's Day, before getting another party member

    Now, it's in Smash, as Pollyanna (I Believe in You). Been in the game since Melee. You might recognize the song, but you don't hear lyrics. So where did our words come from? Pollyanna was remastered with lyrics with Mother 1, sung by Catherine Warwick! One of a few songs in the series with words Pollyanna's the name of a character in a children's novel of by Eleanor H. Porter,

    So I was reading your first comments, & I was the same with Iwata, I found out not only did he work on Pokemon Gold & Silver, but if it wasn't for him the Kanto region wouldn't have also been in the game with the Johto region, I also found out Iwata help with the original Smash Bros., Pokemon Stadium 1, Windwaker, & Pokemon Snap On another note this drawing is fantastic.

    Just want to mention that quite a few of the songs from Mother have vocalized versions... While Pollyanna might be the most famous of the group, I also rather enjoy 'The Eight Melodies' and 'Bein Friends' (which is more famous for its appearance in Smash on the Onett stage... the pieces are rather unique... but The background on this particular song is really helpful, so thanks...
