    no its not. splatterscope dosent have that small blue clip. the tank is at the back of a splatterscope, though mabye its just the early version of one?

    The muzzle is entirely different from the splatterscope. And tanks for guns are technically strapped to your inkling's back.

    im talking about the blue bit on a splatter scope. now that i think about it, the tanks are strapped to an inklings back, but then what would the blue thing be for?

    I thought about it before, and thought that the tank on the back is connected to the other thing, and the ink in the tank adds pressure to the shots.

    i guess. my only other inferencce is that it seperates the color so you can tell which is which, if either inkling sets their gun down, how else would you tell?
