    Probably because Sega thought the Wisps were what people liked about Colors, so they just shoe-horned them in to help Lost World sell... should have just made a Colors sequel imo.

    They didn't really say what planet the Wisps went to in Colors's ending. There is a chance they could live in The Lost Hex
