Am I the only one who noticed this? In Mario Kart DS, Wii, and 7 there is a segment of music in the title theme that sounds the same. The segment starts at about 0:45 in MKDS. About 0:41 for MKWii. And about 0:48 in MK7.

    Oh. I don't remember hearing it in SMK, MK64, MK:SC, or MK:DD. I also don't remember hearing it in MK8. (I never owned SMK, MK64, MK:SC, or MK:DD though.)

    It's the entirety of SMK's title screen, but the other games that use it slow it down a lot. It's in 64, DS, Wii, 7 and 8 but I'm not sure if it's in SC or DD.
