    Whoops. Yeah. You're in for it. PK Beam r is a one-hit KO, the only way to defend against it is to have a Franklin Badge in your inventory.

    I don't know if you can! If you tried talking to Pippi again and she didn't offer you another badge, you might be out of luck. I'd say abuse your save states. Make a new save state every turn, and if you get beamed, restore from your last state. It sounds cheap, but it might be your only option to finish the zoo.
