In light of the long awaited import of this game, what other Nintendo classics not originally released in North America and/or Europe would you like imported in the Wii U e-shop Virtual Console? Answer in the comments!

  • Given the series' emergent popularity, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the older Fire Emblem games are localized for VC. There's 6 they could do (or 5, if you discount FE1 because its DS remake was already localized).

  • Great idea! Even Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem (or its un-localized DS remake) could be next!

  • Do note that for any video game company, adding translated text to an old foreign game is in no ways an impossibility. (Think Sin and Punishment for N64)

  • Mother 3, Custom Robo 64, and F-zero Climax.

  • Mother 3

  • Wait, I actually don't think anything was edited/added in to the Sin and Punishment VC release... I think the Japanese release already had all of that english stuff, actually. I remember reading it was considered to be one of the most import-friendly games ever, lol.

Well, I'd say Mother 3, but honestly, that's just too obvious. XD So.... How about The Mysterious Murasame Castle? And maybe some old Custom Robo games. Murasame's already on 3DS, I know, but everything's better on a TV.

  • Actually, I think the menus, tutorials, training mode, and the ending were translated. Although you are right about it being import friendly.

  • My suggestion would be the old Legendary Starfy games. (besides the fifth one which was already localized)

  • Obviously Itoi's No. 1 Bass Fishing needs to be localized.
