    Removing Wolf was a poor decision, there was already a small amount of Star Fox reps, he may have had similar moves but they functioned differently, and you never remove a villian, plus, if Marth can have 2 clones, why not Fox?

    Exactly, From what I heard, they cut wolf because of the time they had for development, but don't forget. We still have 2 slots left for characters that Sakurai has had planned. Wolf could very well potentially be one of those characters.

    @Austin Actually according to a recent article, Sakurai had said himself that he has no more characters that he has planned to be in Smash and that all future characters will be "fanservice to the ballot"

    @D-Kirb That doesn't meant he didn't already have have those characters finished when he said that. Also, he has went back on his word before. For example he said he wasn't gonna do dlc or bring back Lucas. And what did he do when mewtwo got released? Smash ballot and Lucas reveal. So I wouldn't doubt it.

    A lot of people wanted Lucas more than Wolf. He was the most popular of all the veterans and I can see why. He's a great character and there was only one earthbound character before him, so it would've added another earthbound/mother 3 rep. A lot of people want Wolf and so far he's most requested veteran right now. So I have no doubt he'll be back

    @Austin While I am not saying that no more vets will return, Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, and Ryu, according to the article, were the only characters Sakurai had any influence on. He had also implyed that we may get more than 2 more chars. He may be trolling again, but who can tell. We'll just have to wait and see.
