Soooo wait, can we still comment on ppl's posts? this would b fine if nintendo would allow a messaging service where u can talk to friends via 3ds like on the wii u, but without a full on messaging option to talk to friends on 3ds and posts being limited, i mise well not have friends on 3ds at all. Its 2015, not 2000. This stuff is so trivial I cant believe the limitations.

Because of the games in here, we were brought together in the first place. The long conversations are a product of bringing us together with the games you want us to talk about. Because of the games, we talked about them and made friends. Because the games helped us make friends, we want to learn more about each other. It's just what friends do! We all just want to be friends!!!

What's the point in having an 'Activity Feed' if you can't post in it? Some people do chats like that, that are off-topic of games into the Activity Feed. Now they can't. Such a shame.

Also the chat posts prevent people from enjoying communities to their fullest?? Hahaha excuse you?? I have never ever felt a lack of enjoyment from seeing a chat post sorry. And 99% of the time they are in the activity feed, not communities. Let us keep posting there and theres no problem. Some people dont wanna share to a community all the time anyway & only want friends and followers to see. Smh

I agree with the keeping it game related thing, HOWEVER...Why can't we keep the activity feed? The area with no specific thing? Where we can post statuses and not feel inclined to make it game related?? Let us keep the activity feed as a free post/chat area (No limits) while limiting only the gaming communities which of corse should be game related in that case.

And not only is this stupid, it's an infringement on my freedom of speech. I can't speak for other countries, but I'm sure they have freedom of speech, like I do. And this update is a big middle finger to it. Why does Miiverse have to be strictly game related? Even forums that are extremely dedicated to what they're about have an off-topic section, so why can't we?

Hey Tom. Just for consideration maybe lessen the restrictions on comments somewhat. Possibly consider featuring one less restrictive community to appease the vocal off-topic crowd. Also an edit button would be nice.

First off your not making Miiverse a "Better Game related" place, no one likes this update, EVERYONE HATES IT! And really 30 comments a day?! What are you gonna restrict Yeahs next? Nintendo, why you do this to us?

Hi Tom. Pardon me for asking, but if people wanted to use Miiverse for conversation outside of games in the Activity Feed, how would that prevent others from enjoying communities? I feel as though most people would be happy if posting in the Activity Feed was kept the way it is, that way if someone wanted to use it for their own conversation, they could just do it there, no harm to communities.

Long chats in the comments section are very often game related, and certainly don't bother anyone or take away from the overall experience of Miiverse. Now there has to be a stop to it? This 30 post limit is a bit absurd. There's no actual reason it NEEDS to exist. This would be a fun new update if it weren't for that. Man, this update is gonna be awesome! The play journal looks really cool, but I think my favorite part is that the little kids who try to set up dates or write horrible FNAF fan-fiction on Miiverse will go extinct with the new 30 post limit. @Scuttlest It's hilarious, man. Even if the updates are amazing, people will still complain and bring up their precious hash tags about "saving" Miiverse.
