Long chats have never ruined communities, and even if they did, that can be avoided by allowing us to post in the Activity Feed, where it isn't connected to any community.

This redesign is great and not-great at the same time.
As for the peeps who've used Miiverse for silly purposes (such as myself),
the clock is ticking.
Since miiverse,as we know it,is ending,lets start do whatever we want lets go crazy and post somuch that we break the sever.

First and foremost PLEASE fix the administration system! I’m tired of people getting banned for saying minor things like P-----t M, and people who draw gore/violence in the Smash bros community never getting banned.
WHY IS THIS SUCH A BIG DEAL?!? WE CAN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING UNTIL WE HAVE TRIED IT! I'm almost wishing this update would not happen, so I wouldn't have to see all these selfish fans. Nintendo has been through a lot lately. They had to deal with inconsiderate fans at e3, they have lost their best president, and now they are hearing the sob stories because of an update. Where are your hearts?
Prediction:
On the 30th, 100 thousand users leave Miiverse. Is that a good thing, Miiverse? I don't think that's a good thing that ruins the charm of this place.

The parallels are eerily similar. People loved Nintendo's previous product, and didn't see anything wrong with it, but Nintendo feels the need to control its consumers and force them to use their products a certain way. It's just a massive middle finger to everyone that enjoyed Miiverse when quite frankly, NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH IT.

*sigh* tom. i dont just want to talk about games. i like to have fun and talk to people! i play games on here all the time! but i dont post it on miiveres much about games! we still play them but we just dont post them much. most of us use youtube and chat on it. i thoght miiveres was about haveing fun chating. gess i was wrong. all you guys care about on here is posting about games. this sucks.
I bet Nintendo can't even listen! If I ask Tom "hey Tom, do you care about your fans?" and he'll be all like "..." And I say to him "why won't you answer me huh?
The purpose of the update is to stop off topic users from ruining the 2 communities that they reside in, the activity feed isn't a community, just let us post in the activity feed. You keep miiverse's giant off topic fanbase and your reputation, and those 30 people that wanna talk about Wii Fit or YouTube can be happy as well.
Hello Tom of Nintendo. Im ok with the update, but will you delay it ? The update comes out on my birthday, and i feel like i should get one day extra of classic miiverse. im pretty sure ur not listening but if u are can u pls do that
If you guys really read these and listen to the fans, please hear read this. Don't limit our posts. I like talking to other people who understand and like me. I like miiverse for one reason and that is talking to my friends. I love nintendo. please concider. please.
If you know how to use Miiverse, you should also have the mental capacity to beat a game without asking others for help.
Or at least look up a guide that can help you with stuff, since asking a website full of teenagers is not reliable at all.
Just my two cents on the matter that Nintendo is not going to listen to.
I'm really looking forward to this update but if the Activity Feed just stays there... well why have it? Shouldn't it be replaced with something? Other wise, it's just Flipnote Hatena just viewing what's already there and not posting anything...

this blows. i really wish i had a twitter acount now. they dont care how we feel. all my friends were going to by a wii u for miiveres but they herd about this horrible update and did not get one. hmmmmm... wonder why the wiiu is selling horrible. but im telling you tom! after the update miiveres will be empty!!!
Keep in mind that you're literally destroying thousands of friendships with this update, mass loneliness and depression ensue the world is in utter chaos, is it worth it Nintendo?
Well this seriously sucks. Let's see how long this place lasts after all the artists leave because the amount of exposure they get isn't worth the time it takes to draw.
What would be absolutely amazing is a lax community for those who want to have fun.A community where you wouldn't have to be so restricted would help a lot. If the 30 post/comment limit was applied to the community, I wouldn't mind at all. I understand that Miiverse is supposed to be gaming,but...some users would like to have fun.

The only disappointment I have over Miiverse is the fact that we can't edit our posts and that obscure artists will never shine. The popular people will only be even more popular as long as they keep drawing, and believe me, they will draw until the end of time.
The update is a good call. I can't wait for Miiverse to be centered around gaming. I've seen too many posts of irrelevant things. Can't wait until July 29th!

Just so you guys know, when this update releases, I will stay on miiverse! Though many shall leave, I shall stay! I am a duck of miiverse! I follow the leading duck, or the duck of Nintendo! I shall follow and take the surprises that nintendo will bring!
well, if nintendo is taking away my social media, they should give me a tumblr app. or a better internet browser that will at least load an entire page
But, Miiverse isn't that reliable for its tips. I never got answers for some of my questions and looked them up online instead. And I guess people are most frustrated due to the limit on posting and commenting that will take place because like Tom said, people like those long chats that have nothing to do with gaming.
The post limitation and the drawing being restricted to a popularity contest and not shared among friends (and followers i guess) are what bothers me. I hope screenshots aren't being taken away too, are they?
